Job summary

ByteDance seeks a data-driven SoC DFT engineer to join the Silicon Platform team. You will handle DFT-related work on chips, including Scan, MBIST, ATPG, and Boundary Scan, and you will collaborate with STA, physical design, and power teams.

The candidate has a Master’s in Microelectronics/Electronics/CS, at least 2 years of DFT experience, and scripting skills (TCL/Perl/Python). Good English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Microelectronics, Electronics or CS; 2+ years of DFT work experience.
• Proficient in scripting (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.).
• Skilled in using DFT EDA tools and understanding DFT principles.
• Familiarity with synthesis/STA is preferred.
• Good team spirit and responsible work attitude.
• Good English reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for DFT-related work in SoC chips, including Scan, MBIST, ATPG, Boundary Scan, IP test etc.
• Collaborate closely with STA, physical design, and power engineers to debug and resolve DFT-related Timing/Power-IR problems.
• Work in partnership with test engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon and ensure successful testing.
