Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an F&B kitchen setting.
• Experience in Japanese cooking is advantageous but not necessary.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Responsibilities

• Prepare soba noodles and other Japanese dishes.
• Assist with general food prep tasks and mise en place for service.
• Cook and plate dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistency and high standards in every dish served.
• Ensure all ingredients and dishes meet strict standards for freshness, quality, and taste.
• Monitor food preparation to align with the restaurant's premium dining experience.
• Oversee inventory levels for assigned sections.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and available as needed.
• Communicate restocking needs to the head chef.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
