Job summary

HONG FEI CDY CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Site Supervisor with civil engineering background to coordinate and supervise subcontractors and in-house workers at project sites in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with project requirements and oversee safety adherence on site.

The role requires Mandarin language ability, a proactive attitude, and strong communication skills to liaise with Chinese clients and the project team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering.
• Candidate with relevant certificate will be an added advantage.
• Mandarin speaking and written is essential knowledge due to co-ordinate with Chinese client and project team.
• High pro-active attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of sub0contractors and in-house workers.
• Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
• Co-operate with safety personnel always ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health at all times.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers on the daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversion, drainage and pavement work and etc.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings
• Ensure that work is executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of strict deadlines.
• Perform safety, equipment, materials routine inspection
• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Attend daily toolbox meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
• Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
• Responsible for materials and manpower planning usage at site.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day.
