Job summary

YT CONSTRUCTION & TRADE PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites in Singapore. The role requires coordinating subcontractors, inspecting workmanship, and ensuring schedules are met.

You will lead a team of inspectors, monitor material quality, and uphold safety standards while liaising with engineers and suppliers to resolve on-site issues promptly. Training will be provided for motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction site supervision preferred; training provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese (speaking and writing) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineer in day-to-day site supervision.
• Supervise subcontractors to follow the work schedule.
• Check material quality to ensure workmanship meets schedules.
• Lead inspectors and manage incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
• Coordinate structural/architectural works on site.
• Monitor works with subcontractors and suppliers, address problems on site.
• Ensure site safety and implement safe work practices.
• Oversee migrant workers' daily operations.

Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist project engineer carry out supervisory roles on the day to day operation on the site
• Supervise the sub-contractors work progress on site according to the work schedule
• Checking on the quality of material to ensuring of workmanship to achieve the target of schedules.
• Lead a team of inspectors and to handle incoming, in-process and finished goods issues in a timely and orderly manner.
• Assist project engineer coordinate and oversee all the structural / architectural works on site
• Assist engineer monitor and coordinate the works with subcontractors and handling suppliers and sub-contractors problem on site
• Ensure site safety and carry out safe work procedures to control risk
• In-change and supervise a team of the migrant worker daily operation work
• Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese (speaking and writing) is a must.
• While experience in a related field is a plus, we welcome motivated individuals without experience. We are committed to your development and will provide comprehensive training.
• Able to start work within short notice.
