Job summary

TO REACH ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled civil engineer to support on-site construction activities in Singapore. You will inspect works, ensure quality, and coordinate schedules with supervisors to meet project milestones.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of site experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and bilingual English/Mandarin for interactions with Chinese-speaking colleagues. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering (BCA recognised).
• Min 3 years construction site experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Own transport or Class 3 license.
• Immediate or short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks against specs.
• Oversee construction activities, planning and monitoring schedules.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on Temporary Works.
• Plan, coordinate and resolve on-site technical matters.
• Guide supervisors to maintain schedule and quality and safety.
• Prepare and submit MOS, shop drawings, progress claims and reports.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the company.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify that construction works meet project specifications and standards.
• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary Works.
• To plan, coordinate and resolve all on-site technical and engineering related matters.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues resolved on time.
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals.
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• BCA recognised Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the construction site, fresh graduate are welcomed.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Preferably possess own transport or valid Class 3 license
• Have good interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Immediate or short notice preferred
