Job summary

HUA RONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a site supervisor to coordinate subcontractors and in-house teams on civil projects in Singapore. The role requires ensuring compliance with project scope, safety standards, and timely execution of work.

Candidate should have at least 3 years of civil engineering experience, with Mandarin language skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Certificates in civil engineering are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Mandarin speaking and written is essential due to coordination with Chinese client.
• Certificate in civil engineering is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house workers.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
• Co-operate with safety personnel and ensure Workplace Safety & Health compliance.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers on daily execution of permanent and temporary works.
• Ensure installation follows construction drawings.
• Monitor progress and workmanship to meet deadlines.
• Attend toolbox meetings and convey clear instructions.
• Maintain progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
• Plan materials and manpower usage at site.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the work of sub0contractors and in-house workers
• Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
• Co-operate with safety personnel always ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health at all times.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers on the daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversion, drainage and pavement work and etc.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings
• Ensure that work is executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of strict deadlines.
• Perform safety, equipment, materials routine inspection
• To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Attend daily toolbox meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.
• Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
• Responsible for materials and manpower planning usage at site.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering
2. Candidate with relevant certificate will be an added advantage
3. Mandarin speaking and written is essential knowledge due to co-ordinate with Chinese client and project team.
