Job summary

HUA RONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to oversee civil works on our Singapore projects. You will coordinate sub-contractors and in-house staff, ensuring adherence to drawings, timelines, and safety standards across road diversions, drainage and pavement tasks.

The role requires Mandarin language proficiency, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication skills to liaise with Chinese clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering.
• Candidate with relevant certificate will be an added advantage.
• Mandarin speaking and written is essential knowledge due to co-ordinate with Chinese client and project team.
• High pro-active attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers.
• Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
• Co-operate with safety personnel and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety & Health at all times.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers on daily execution of permanent and temporary works such as road diversion, drainage and pavement work.
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.
• Ensure work is executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship with observation of deadlines.
• Perform safety, equipment, materials routine inspection.
• Monitor progress and quality of work being performed by workers.
• Attend daily toolbox meetings and convey clear instructions accordingly.
• Maintain and update work progress records, housekeeping and prepare reports.
• Responsible for materials and manpower planning usage at site.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned day to day.
