You will oversee activities, coordinate schedules, and liaise with engineers on temporary works, providing guidance to supervisors and monitoring progress. The role requires a Civil Engineering qualification, at least 3 years on-site experience, bilingual English/Mandarin, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering recognised by BCA.
• Minimum 3 years of site experience; fresh graduates considered.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin for Chinese-speaking counterparts.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; transport is a plus.
• Own transport or valid Class 3 license preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks against specs and standards.
• Oversee construction activities, plan, implement and monitor work programmes.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on Temporary Works.
• Plan, coordinate and resolve on-site technical matters.
• Guide supervisors to maintain progress, quality, and timely issue resolution.
• Manage and monitor workers for safety, order, and productivity.
• Supervise ongoing site activities and documentation submission.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, MOS, monthly progress claims, and reports.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify that construction works meet project specifications and standards.
• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary Works.
• To plan, coordinate and resolve all on-site technical and engineering related matters.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues resolved on time.
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, Method of Statement (MOS), monthly progress claims, and project management reports to support project tracking and approvals.
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• BCA recognised Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the construction site, fresh graduate are welcomed.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Preferably possess own transport or valid Class 3 license
• Have good interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Immediate or short notice preferred
