Job summary

UNIQUETECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Project Manager/ Site Manager in ensuring site activities align with project schedules.

You will supervise daily site works, safety, and quality control, coordinating with subcontractors, main contractors, consultants and clients for drawing revisions and weekly progress reports. Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision and coordination of civil works.
• Familiarity with safety and quality control on construction sites.
• Ability to read drawings and raise technical queries.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/ Site Manager to ensure site activities meet schedules.
• Supervise day-to-day site works, safety and quality control.
• Monitor site works, materials, plant and equipment with site supervisors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, main contractor, consultants, and client for drawing revisions and weekly progress reports.
• Assist in planning, programming and monitoring construction progress.
• Study tender drawings, specs and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure structural and architectural works follow drawings.
• Participate in short-term planning and meetings with client/consultant/sub-contractor.
• Manage timely completion of construction works.
• Identify and assess risks and minimize environmental impact.
• Ensure safe procedures and environmental controls and maintain quality records.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Company.

Job description

• To assist the Project Manager/ Site Manager and ensure that the site activities are executed in accordance with time schedules
• Supervise and coordinate day to day site works, safety and quality control
• Monitor & coordinate the site works, materials, plant & equipment with site supervisors
• Coordinate with the Sub contractor / MainCon / Consultant / Client for whatever revision on drawings & in actual construction & submit weekly site works progress report.
• Assist in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• To ensure structural work & architectural work done according to the drawing
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress and involve in client/consultant/sub-contractor meetings
• Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/ civil works
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimise environmental impact associated with the construction activities
• Take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site and quality records are properly maintained
• Undertake any other work duties as required by the Company
