Job summary

CHENG XIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate with the Project Manager, oversee site matters, and ensure construction drawings align with latest regulations.

You will supervise subcontractors and liaise with government agencies to obtain permits. Applicants should hold a Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil / Structural / M&E Engineering or Building Management, with solid CAD/BIM skills (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in architecture/civil/structural/mechanical/electrical engineering or building-related field.
• Strong CAD/BIM skills including AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site progress and ensure timely delivery of works from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Manage subcontractors/suppliers to perform their scope of works.

• Attend site meetings to assist the Project Manager.
• Liaise with government agencies to obtain site permits/clearances.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as instructed.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and work closely with Project Manager to oversee site matters and provide technical support such as interpret construction drawings


• Ensure all technical drawings conform to the latest BCA codes and regulations


• Supervise site progress and ensure timely delivery of contract works from subcontractors/suppliers


• Manage subcontractors/suppliers to perform their respective scope of works for smooth project execution


• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce in-house regulations


• Attend site meetings to assist the Project Manager with necessary preparatory works


• Liaise with relevant government agencies to obtain necessary site permits/clearances


• Any other ad-hoc duties as instructed by superiors

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

• Possess a recognised Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management


• Strong knowledge in use of Autocad, BIM software such as Revit and microsoft projects
