Job summary

Hongze Contruction Builders Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee planning, engineering and technical submissions on construction sites in Singapore. You will supervise site activities, ensure adherence to approved procedures, and manage documentation such as shop drawings and MOS.

The role requires a Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant site experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage in project planning, engineering and technical matters, authority submissions, and overall site coordination.

• Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, quality standards, contractual specifications, and safety requirements.

• Prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, method statements, material submissions (MOS), and other technical documentation.

• Manage engineering and technical issues on site, coordinate with relevant parties to resolve discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.

• Monitor project progress, schedules, and daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with the master programme and detailed work programmes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including technical submissions, site documentation, progress reports, and related correspondence.

• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, consultants, authorities, and end users to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth and timely project execution.

Requirements

1. Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

2. At least 3 years of relevant site experience, preferably with a local construction company.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

4. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve site issues effectively.

5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively under tight project schedules.

6. Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

7. Familiar with Singapore's building codes, construction standards.
