Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst for a large-scale Student Information System (SIS) modernisation programme in Singapore. You will bridge academic services and delivery teams, capturing requirements for engineers and testers, and guiding design, build and go-live activities.

The role focuses on end-to-end lifecycle management of student information processes, migration readiness, and continuous collaboration with academic and administrative stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business analysis experience, including IHL/HEI projects preferred.
• Ability to lead requirement workshops with academic and admin stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specs with clear acceptance criteria.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses across legacy and modern platforms during co-existence.
• Define to-be business processes and data operability.
• Support data migration with mapping, quality rules and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate requirement workshops with academic and administrative process owners.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria and traceability.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis between standard sector practice and institution-specific needs.
• Analyze data and processes across legacy and new platforms during co-existence.
• Design the to-be business processes and data operability.
• Collaborate with designers on student and staff journeys for experience design.
• Support data migration through mapping, quality rules and reconciliation.
• Design test scenarios and assist with UAT and change materials.
• Define functional requirements for SIS integrations with other systems.
• Maintain requirements baseline and manage changes through change control.
