Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a full-time Shipyard Facility/Plant Manager. You will lead maintenance staff, develop maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while managing budgets and coordinating with other departments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Marine or Civil Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in MS Projects and MS Office. Indonesian work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years as shipyard facility/plant facility manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, MS Office, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare and execute Planned Maintenance schedules with a shipyard maintenance team.
• Check and verify maintenance team daily work done.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff to upkeep and maintain equipment, machineries, prime movers, and cranes.
• Custodian of all maintenance records as per ISO standards.
• Maintain workshops, office buildings, gravel docks, slipways, and finger pier to health and safety requirements.
• Work with other departments to support yard operations (dock lighting, gates, welding machines).
