Job Description
Develop, prepare and executing Planned Maintenance schedules with a team of shipyard maintenance staff
Check and verify maintenance team daily work done.
Lead a team of maintenance staff to upkeep and maintain equipment, machineries, prime movers, cranes (overhead, crawler & gantry etc)
Custodian of all maintenance records as per ISO standards
In charge and responsible for maintaining the workshops, office buildings, gravel docks, slipways, finger pier are up to health and safety operational requirement
Work closely with other departments and support the yard operations (eg, dock lightings, dock gates, welding machines etc)
Ensure facility development projects are carried out effectively and complete on schedule within budget
Prepare annual budget for tools and equipment
Planning, vetting and approving the subcontractors equipment/tools to be used in shipyard
Manage subcontractors work in relations to facility upgrades and development works
Monitor Hazardous eg, B3 waste generated in the shipyard is handled and disposed in accordance to local laws and regulation
Consolidate and make recommendation to Management for purchasing / disposal of assets, (eg, scrap)
Coordinate, keep track and verification of rental equipment in support of yard operations.
Prepare and present facility/infrastructure maintenance report to Management every monthly.
Designated person in charge (notification and rectification) for all facility defects/recommendation reported by shipyard workers
A member of shipyard environment upgrade team
Requirements
