GOLDTECH RESOURCES PTE LTD in Batam, Indonesia seeks an experienced Steel Production Manager to lead steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block construction in a shipyard environment. You will drive production efficiency, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in shipbuilding or steel construction management, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage large teams and subcontractors while coordinating with engineering and QA/QC

Qualifikationen

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in shipbuilding, shipyard operations, or steel construction management.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, block assembly and shipyard production processes.
• Experience leading large production teams and subcontractors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee steel fabrication, sub-assembly, and block construction to support project delivery targets.
• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure progress according to milestones.
• Monitor production performance and implement improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and yard resources.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, procurement, QA/QC, and project teams.
• Provide regular updates on production progress, challenges, and recovery plans.
