Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore to manage shipments for key accounts and ensure smooth operations.

You will prepare quotations, verify rates and support RFQ/tender exercises while coordinating with internal teams, overseas agents and vendors to secure competitive rates and timely submissions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma required with 2–3 years in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience in RFQ, pricing or tender support is advantageous.
• Sales orientation and commercial awareness essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments for assigned key accounts and ensure smooth and timely logistics operations.
• Verify freight rates, transportation charges and other expenses to prepare quotations.
• Prepare quotations for Sea / Air freight and road transportation services.
• Support RFQ and tender exercises, including rate compilation and submissions.
• Liaise with internal teams, overseas agents, carriers and vendors to obtain competitive rates.
• Follow up on shipment movements with overseas agents and provide updates to customers.
• Maintain SOPs, contact matrices, transport mapping and other records.
• Work with customers to resolve service issues and propose improvements.
• Manage operational risks and provide alternative solutions to minimise disruptions.
• Follow up with customers after discussions and assist in resolving feedback.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments for assigned key accounts and ensure smooth and timely logistics operations.


• Verify freight rates, transportation charges, manpower costs and other related expenses to prepare accurate quotations.


• Prepare quotations for Sea / Air freight and road transportation services.


• Support RFQ and tender exercises, including rate compilation, pricing coordination, quotation preparation and submission of tender documents.


• Liaise with internal teams, overseas agents, carriers and vendors to obtain competitive rates and ensure timely tender submissions.


• Follow up on shipment movements with overseas agents and provide timely updates to customers.


• Maintain and update SOPs, contact matrices, transport mapping and other operational records.


• Work closely with customers to resolve recurring service issues and recommend suitable process improvements.


• Manage operational risks and provide alternative solutions to minimise service disruptions.


• Follow up with customers after sales discussions and assist in resolving feedback or service-related issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification with at least 2–3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.


• Experience in RFQ, pricing, quotation preparation and/or tender support will be advantageous.


• Sales-oriented with good commercial awareness.


• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.


• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
