Job summary
Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Coordinator / Operations Executive to support shipping documentation, shipment coordination and customer servicing. The position is based in Tuas with transport from MRT/bus to the office, and involves a 5.5-day work week.
The role requires handling import/export documents, coordinating with forwarders and lines, arranging bookings, and providing timely updates to clients while supporting business growth.
Qualifications
- GCE O-Level or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.
- Shipping documentation or logistics coordination experience is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures preferred.
- Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare import/export documents, LC, Bill of Lading and FTA documentation.
- Coordinate shipments with forwarders, transporters and shipping lines.
- Arrange freight bookings and shipment schedules.
- Handle customer enquiries, shipment updates and issue resolution.
- Send documents to clients, agents and shipping partners accurately and on time.
- Monitor freight rates and support basic cost analysis.
- Coordinate with overseas agents and support new account development.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and support business growth.
