Job summary

Infiniti Marine Pte Ltd in Jurong Port is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage customer bookings and coordinate container shipments. You will verify details in our ERP, liaise with customers and shipping lines, and support daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, organization and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Must be responsible, organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of logistics, freight forwarding, container transport or FCL operations will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Bookings: Receive, process and verify customer bookings in our ERP.
• Coordinate Container Shipments: Liaise with customers and shipping lines to arrange FCL shipments.
• Provide Customer Support: Be the main contact for customers and update on schedules and changes.
• Coordinate Transport Arrangements: Work with internal teams to arrange collection and delivery.
• Resolve Shipment Requirements: Confirm handling instructions and operational needs with customers.
• Work Closely with Sales & Operations: Update booking status and coordinate with teams.
• Monitor Shipment Conditions: Report any damage or discrepancies promptly.
• Verify Invoices & Close Jobs: Check invoices and ensure job files are closed in ERP.
• Support Daily Operations: Assist with other duties as assigned.

Working Days: 5-day work week

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Bookings: Receive, process and verify customer bookings to ensure all shipment details and job references are accurately recorded in our ERP system.
• Coordinate Container Shipments: Liaise with customers and shipping lines to arrange FCL container shipments, confirm space availability and communicate booking confirmations promptly.
• Provide Customer Support: Serve as a key contact for customers, keeping them updated on shipment schedules, vessel details, delays and any changes affecting their bookings.
• Coordinate Transport Arrangements: Work closely with internal transport operations to arrange container collection, trucking and delivery according to customer requirements.
• Resolve Shipment Requirements: Clarify special handling, shipment instructions and operational requirements with customers before confirming bookings.
• Work Closely with Sales & Operations: Keep Sales Personnel informed of booking status and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
• Monitor Shipment Conditions: Follow up on cargo condition and promptly report any damage or discrepancies to the relevant parties for further action.
• Verify Invoices & Close Jobs: Check vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure completed job files are properly reviewed and closed in ERP.
• Support Daily Operations: Assist with other duties and operational tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
