Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to handle import/export, offshore shipments, and related documentation from our Central Singapore location.

The role emphasizes coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders, ensuring compliant and timely movements of goods. The candidate should have at least 1 year in logistics or supply chain, familiarity with shipping docs and Incoterms, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Trade or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain role.
• Experience in the chemical industry or in bulk shipment.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and Incoterms.
• Understanding of payment terms, contract management systems and ERP workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• LC & DP knowledge not required but preferable.

Responsibilities

• Import/Export & Offshore Shipment Coordination (40%). Schedule and monitor imports/exports and offshore shipments; coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal logistics teams; ensure timely movement and regulatory compliance.
• Shipping Documentation Preparation (20%). Prepare invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin; ensure accuracy before submission.
• Administrative & Reporting Support (40%). Support shipment tracking, maintain stock records, process workflow entries, and assist with SOPs and operational improvements.

Basic up to $3,800 + Bonuses

Responsibilities:

1. Import/Export & Offshore Shipment Coordination (40%)

• Support scheduling and monitoring of import, export and offshore shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal logistics teams.
• Ensure timely movement of goods and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

2. Shipping Documentation Preparation (20%)

• Prepare shipping documents including Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and Certificate of Origin.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy before submission to counterparties.

3. Administrative & Reporting Support (40%)

• Support internal applications, shipment tracking and reporting activities.
• Maintain stock records and master data.
• Process workflow entries.
• Support process transitions, SOP maintenance and operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Trade or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain role.
• Experience in the chemical industry or in bulk shipment
• Basic knowledge of international trading.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and Incoterms.
