Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE LTD in Bedok, Singapore is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to manage daily import/export activities and ensure timely shipment processing. The role focuses on export and direct shipping arrangements, with responsibility for preparing shipping documents, TradeNet permits and related paperwork.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of import/export experience, solid knowledge of TradeNet, Singapore Customs and SFA requirements, and is proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of import/export experience, preferably in food, FMCG or trading.
• Good knowledge of TradeNet, Singapore Customs and SFA requirements.
• Experience with shipping documentation, permits and international freight.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily import/export operations and ensure timely shipment processing, with a strong focus on export and direct shipping arrangements.
• Prepare shipping documents, TradeNet permits, invoices, packing lists, COO, Bills of Lading and related documents.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, SFA and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and transport providers.
• Monitor shipments and resolve clearance, documentation and delivery issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams on order fulfilment, shipment planning and inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and verify freight costs and invoices.
• Support logistics reporting and process improvements.
