in Singapore is seeking a Senior M365 & SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer to own and optimize our enterprise collaboration platforms, spanning on-premises SharePoint SE, hybrid architecture, and SharePoint Online, with hands-on SQL Server administration. You will drive stability, security and modernization across the hybrid infrastructure, leveraging PowerShell automation and expertise in Exchange, Teams, and Skype for Business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise-scale SharePoint farms and SQL Server environments.
• Deep knowledge of SharePoint SE, SharePoint 2016/2019, and SharePoint Online.
• Strong SQL Server skills including Always On, clustering, and performance optimization.
• Experience with hybrid migrations, server patching, and DR validation.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Exchange Server/Online, Teams, and Skype for Business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and maintain on-premises SharePoint Server farms (SE/2019/2016) and SharePoint Online environments.
• Lead farm patching cycles, CU updates, version upgrades, and DR readiness.
• Manage service applications, farm topologies, web applications, and site collection governance.
• Drive and support hybrid integration between on-premises farms and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• Provide Tier-3 operational troubleshooting for complex architectural, authentication, and performance issues.
• Administer, tune, and maintain SQL Server instances supporting SharePoint and related apps.
• Implement HA/DR frameworks including Always On, failover clustering, and log shipping.
• Monitor database health, optimize index/query performance, and plan capacity for content databases.
• Enforce backup schedules, point-in-time recovery testing, and DR drills.
• Build PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and health checks.
• Streamline provisioning, auditing, and reporting across hybrid workloads.
• Support and integrate Exchange Server/Online, Teams, and Skype for Business; manage hybrid mail routing and migrations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior M365 & SharePoint Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and optimize our mission-critical enterprise collaboration platforms. In this role, you will be the core technical owner of our SharePoint environment (on-premises SharePoint SE, hybrid architecture, and SharePoint Online), backed by hands‑on database administration across our high‑availability Microsoft SQL Server instances.

If you have a strong background in multi-tier server farm architecture, database reliability, PowerShell automation, and enterprise messaging ecosystems (Exchange, Teams, and Skype for Business), this role offers the opportunity to drive stability, security, and modernization across our hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise SharePoint & Hybrid Cloud Management:

• Architect, configure, and maintain on‑premises SharePoint Server farms (SharePoint SE / 2019 / 2016) and SharePoint Online environments.




• Lead farm patching cycles, cumulative updates (CU), version upgrades, and disaster recovery readiness.




• Manage service applications, farm topologies, web applications, and site collection governance.




• Drive and support seamless hybrid integration between on‑premises farms and Microsoft 365 cloud services.




• Provide Tier‑3 operational troubleshooting for complex architectural, authentication, and performance issues.

SQL Server Administration & Data Availability:

• Administer, tune, and maintain SQL Server instances supporting SharePoint and interconnected business applications.




• Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks, including SQL Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and log shipping.




• Monitor database health, optimize index/query performance, and conduct capacity planning for content databases.




• Enforce rigorous backup schedules, point‑in‑time recovery testing, and DR drills.

Automation, Tooling & Reporting:

• Build and maintain robust PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks, maintenance jobs, and health checks.




• Streamline provisioning, compliance auditing, and reporting across hybrid collaboration workloads.




• Implement proactive monitoring dashboards and alert mechanisms to prevent service degradations.

Messaging & Collaboration Services:

• Support and integrate enterprise messaging and communication services, including Exchange Server (SE), Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and legacy Skype for Business Server.




• Manage hybrid mail routing, tenant‑to‑tenant migration workflows, and cross‑platform collaboration tools.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 6+ years of hands‑on experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise‑scale SharePoint farms and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
