WMK SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is looking for a Service and Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of diesel generators through routine servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs.

The role demands mechanical and electrical expertise and strict adherence to Singapore's safety regulations. You will perform servicing per manufacturer specs, diagnose faults, conduct tests, maintain logs, and assist in installation and testing of new systems while guiding junior

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and engine systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Physical fitness for on-site work in generator rooms.
• Familiarity with WSH regulations and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency services.
• BCSS certification mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of generators according to manufacturer specifications.

• Maintain accurate service records, logs, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new generator systems.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and clients on generator operation and preventive care.
• Monitor generator performance and recommend replacement of parts or system upgrades as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for spare parts and specialized equipment.

Job Summary

The Service and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of diesel generators through routine servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role requires technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, strict adherence to Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, and the ability to respond promptly to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of generators according to manufacturer specifications.


2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.


3. Conduct load testing, battery inspections, fuel system checks, and cooling system maintenance.


4. Maintain accurate service records, logs, and maintenance reports.


5. Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.


6. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new generator systems.
