Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore invites applications for a Generator Service Engineer (Genset / Electrical / Mechanical). Based at Tuas Crescent with company transport provided, you will perform testing, servicing and routine maintenance of generator sets on customer sites islandwide.

Requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years’ relevant experience; hands-on genset experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant servicing or maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience servicing generator sets / gensets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, servicing and routine maintenance of generator sets.
• Set up equipment for testing and prepare service/test reports.
• Troubleshoot generator issues and support repair or rectification work.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Plan and coordinate service and testing schedules.
• Complete service documentation and administrative records accurately.
• Attend customer job sites islandwide as required.

Job description

• Position: Generator Service Engineer (Genset / Electrical / Mechanical)

• Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)

• Working hours: 5.5 days, Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.15pm), Saturday half day

• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3800 + AWS + 14 days annual leave + Medical

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, servicing and routine maintenance of generator sets.

• Set up equipment for testing and prepare service/test reports.

• Troubleshoot generator issues and support repair or rectification work.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

• Plan and coordinate service and testing schedules.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Around 1 to 3 years of relevant servicing or maintenance experience.

• Hands‑on experience servicing generator sets / gensets is preferred.

• Able to perform testing, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

• Able to work independently at customer sites.

• Valid Class 3 driving licence will be advantageous for site deployment.
