Job summary

VAULT PERSONNEL PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support servicing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

The role involves both workshop and on-site technical work and requires a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence. You will perform inspections, diagnose faults, service generators, air compressors and welding equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance. Qualifications include at least O Level with 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend repair solutions.
• Service and repair equipment including generators, air compressors, welding machines, machinery and power equipment, sliding panels/doors and related systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing to keep equipment in good condition.
• Conduct testing and functional checks after servicing or repair work.
• Replace defective parts and components where required.
• Attend to customers' equipment breakdowns and provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support.
• Explain technical issues and repair requirements clearly to customers.
• Handle basic installation, assembly and commissioning of equipment when required.
• Maintain service and repair records including parts replaced.
• Ensure tools and work areas are maintained and safe.
• Follow safety procedures during servicing, repair and installation.
• Drive company vehicle to customer sites and collect/deliver equipment when required.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and technically competent Service Technician to support the servicing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment. The role will involve both workshop and on-site technical work and requires a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Service and repair equipment including:
• Generators
• Air compressors
• Welding machines
• Machinery and power equipment
• Sliding panels/doors and related systems
• Wood-related equipment and machinery
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure equipment remains in good working condition.
• Conduct testing and functional checks after servicing or repair work.
• Replace defective parts and components where required.
• Attend to customers' equipment breakdowns and provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support.
• Explain technical issues and repair requirements to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Handle basic installation, assembly and commissioning of equipment where required.
• Maintain proper service and repair records, including work performed and parts replaced.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when carrying out servicing, repair and installation work.
• Drive company vehicle to customer sites, collect/deliver equipment, parts or materials when required.
• Perform other technical and operational duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• At least O Level qualifications.
• 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Relevant experience in machinery, generator, air compressor, welding equipment or industrial equipment servicing and repair.
• Good mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge would be an advantage.
• Experience working with wood-related machinery or sliding panel systems would be advantageous.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Able to work independently and troubleshoot equipment systematically.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on technical work.
• Willing to travel to customer sites within Singapore for servicing and repair work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to follow through on assigned service jobs.
