Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites applications for a technicalinstallation role. The candidate will perform installation, wiring and mechanical assembly on engines, generators and related components, following provided drawings. This on-site position offers a basic salary up to SGD 3,200 with a variable bonus and company transport.

Working days are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:10pm, with welfare benefits and clear career progression opportunities within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• ITE or relevant technical certification with hands-on experience is required.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Starting System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Select, use and maintain service tools for installations.
• Install electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers and control panels.
• Install engine wiring per drawings and assemble engine components (oil pump, water pump, cylinder head).
• Perform engine valve lash adjustment and assist with mechanical work (radiator, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping).
• Assist and perform alignment for radiator, engine and alternator installations.
• Prepare generators for load test and record parameter readings.
• Connect ET tools to view diagnostic codes and events and log data.
• Troubleshoot engines and generators and perform general servicing.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform job assignments by selecting, using and maintaining various service tools correctly.


• To perform installation of electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.


• To perform installation of engine wiring as accordance with the drawings provided.


• To disassemble and assemble engine components i.e. oil pump, water pump and cylinder head, etc.


• To perform engine valve lash adjustment.


• To assist and perform mechanical works i.e. installation of radiator assembly, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping, hoses, etc.


• To assist and perform alignment works for radiator assembly, engine and alternator installation.


• To prepare generators for load test.


• To perform safety devices test and load test including the recording of the required parameter readings.


• To perform ET tool connection onto engine to view diagnostic codes and events and file date.


• To perform troubleshooting on engines and generators when problems arises.


• To perform general servicing on engines and alternators.

Job Requirements:

• Possess ITE or relevant technical certification with minimum 2 years relevant hands‑on experience.


• Knowledge of Hydraulic Staring System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing will of advantage.
