Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and scripts using platform best practices. Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and other API technologies.
- Provide ongoing support, defect resolution, enhancements, and performance improvements for ServiceNow applications and platform features.
- Analyze stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into effective ServiceNow functional and technical solutions.
- Map business requirements to ServiceNow capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Support compliance and risk mitigation initiatives by implementing secure ServiceNow solutions and adhering to governance standards.
- Support the controlled deployment of ServiceNow changes, releases, and platform updates while ensuring user adoption and business continuity.
- Manage configuration items, maintain version control, update records, and ensure platform changes are accurately documented.
- Design data models, tables, relationships, and CMDB structures within ServiceNow to support business processes and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities, AI features, and platform innovations to drive continuous improvement and business value.
- Monitor and optimize ServiceNow platform performance, integrations, and application responsiveness.
- Investigate recurring ServiceNow issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Contribute to ServiceNow product roadmap discussions, enhancement prioritization, and feature delivery planning.
- Support project planning, estimation, execution, and successful delivery of ServiceNow development initiatives.
- Ensure ServiceNow solutions comply with coding standards, testing procedures, quality benchmarks, and organizational requirements.
- Configure ServiceNow applications, update sets, workflows, catalog items, business rules, and automation components.
- Design scalable ServiceNow technical solutions, application architectures, and reusable platform components.
- Create and execute test cases, perform system testing, and validate ServiceNow functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Support the definition of ServiceNow solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards, integration requirements, and future scalability needs.
- Develop integration solutions connecting ServiceNow with enterprise applications, infrastructure platforms, and cloud services.
Prepare test strategies, testplans, and test data to ensure successful validation and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
Design and enhance ServiceNow user experiences, portals, workspaces, and forms to improve usability and productivity.
