Job summary

A regional service company in Singapore is seeking a technician to support their Service Team. You will perform inspections, installations, and repairs across various marine and industrial products. Ideal candidates will have an ITE qualification and relevant experience, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. This position involves on-site jobs and may require short-notice travel.

Job description

Overview

• Support the regional Service Team, reporting directly to the Service Manager.
• Perform inspections, measurements, installations, repairs, and overhauls in Singapore and across the region.
• Handle products such as couplings, shafts, mounts, brakes, backstops, fluid couplings, etc.
• Work in both marine and industrial environments, including on-site jobs and short-notice travel assignments.
• Prepare and submit visit and service reports in a timely manner.
• Manage warehouse upkeeping, including spare parts and tools.
• Schedule and coordinate service jobs and deployment of service teams.

Qualifications

• ITE qualification or above.
• Experience in the marine sector, covering diesel engines, gearboxes, and gensets (preferred).
• Entry-level candidates with little or no experience will also be considered.
