Mission (About the Role)
Schneider Electric is seeking a Service Project Engineer specializing in critical power and cooling management. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex infrastructure projects, ranging from data centers to high-density liquid cooling environments.
What will you do?
- System Design & Integration: Oversee the technical integration of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and advanced cooling architectures.
- Cooling Management: Lead the deployment of diverse cooling technologies, including Chilled Water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, and Liquid Cooling solutions.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the full project sequence: site surveys, installation and final commissioning (CX Level 1-5).
- Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with electrical and mechanical subcontractors to ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead Integrated System Testing (IST) to validate the interaction of power and cooling systems.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in project engineering within data centers or industrial critical facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam and project management tools (MS Project, Procore or similar).
- Experience with battery technologies (VRLA and Lithium-ion) and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- In-depth understanding of Electrical (UPS System), Chiller Plants and Cooling Systems.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams (SLD) and coordinate switchgear integration.
