Job summary

Eaton, based in Singapore, seeks a Project Engineer (UPS) to drive UPS project delivery within the Electrical business. You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinating with Service Engineers, customers, and subcontractors to meet requirements and budgets.

Responsibilities include FAT/SAT coordination, tender/billing milestones, and ensuring adherence to QMS, with emphasis on risk-based thinking and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and control projects to meet customer requirements while ensuring cost control and adherence to project budgets.
• Oversee Service Engineers and contractors during project implementation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage UPS Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) with customers.
• Manage multiple project implementations and deliveries in accordance with customer requirements.
• Schedule and participate in project discussions and meetings with customers.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Attend project site meetings and provide project updates as required.
• Support contract administration activities, including ordering, billing milestones, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) submissions.
• Coordinate with the Customer Service team on parts ordering and lead time management.
• Manage subcontractor schedules and ensure the quality of work performed.
• Support the Service team during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Implement the process approach and risk‑based thinking in all relevant activities.
• Provide the necessary support to effectively implement, maintain, and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Communicate the importance of compliance with QMS requirements across the organization.
• Ensure that QMS objectives and goals are achieved.
• Engage, guide, and support employees contributing to the effectiveness of the QMS.
• Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline
• At least 2 years of project management experience
• Auto-CAD skill
• Good communication skill
