Job summary

Culina Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Service Leader to greet guests, provide information on meals and drinks, take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.

You will prepare and serve food and beverages, attend to diners' requests, coordinate tasks in a busy bistro, manage cashiering and seating, and support the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications

• GCE O’ Level or NITEC in Hospitality Services.
• WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year F&B service experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome diners, provide information on food & beverage selections, take orders and communicate orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Prepare/serve food, drinks, condiments and attend to diners’ requests in an efficient & timely manner.
• Coordinate and multi-tasking job duties in a busy bistro environment including cashiering and accepting payments, prepare tables, opening and closing duties etc.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines in food & workplace safety, service and handling of equipment such as coffee machine etc.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility cleanliness.
• Manage daily reservation system together with call centre team. Efficiently maximize seating in the dining area.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Restaurant Manager.

Job Summary:

• Comply with all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines in food & workplace safety, service and handling of equipment such as coffee machine etc.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility cleanliness.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Level certificate or NITEC in Hospitality Services
• WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or to attend Food Safety Course Level 1 or Refresher Course arranged by Company
• 1 year of working experience in F&B service
• Able to perform shift duties, 5-day work week, work on weekends & PH
• Good customer handling, good communication skills, multitasking, responsive, a team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
