Job summary

ALIGN RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Engineer (CRAC / HCMV) to maintain and service critical cooling systems across client sites in Singapore.

You will travel between sites, perform routine maintenance, and address emergencies with on-site support and reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, has hands-on CRAC/critical infrastructure experience, and can diagnose faults quickly.

Qualifications

• Min Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with cooling systems and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with CRAC, WDS, or related critical infra.
• Willingness to travel and site-to-site stationing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine cooling system maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Determine the underlying causes of hardware and software issues, diagnose them, and provide fixes.
• Respond quickly to e-mails (emergency calls) and perform equipment power-up/down procedures.
• Offer on-site instruction on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM) and technical support.
• Continue to have solid client relationships.
• Communicate with customer engineering departments to ensure compliance with policies and quality standards.
• After servicing or e-call, complete thorough service reports.
• Report on work activities, progress, and corrective measures on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Ensure all service records are accurately filed, documented, and tracked.
• Oversee contractor operations to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Examine site Events and Actions and make corrections as needed.
• Plan, execute, and update daily work schedules.

Working days: 5.5 days

Working hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm | Sat: 9am-1pm

Working Location: Need to travel and station from site to site

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine cooling system maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Determine the underlying causes of hardware and software issues, diagnose them, and provide fixes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Min Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Practical expertise in cooling systems and preventative maintenance engineering, ideally with data centre cooling solutions, CRAC, precision air conditioning, or other mission-critical cooling infrastructure.
• Practical understanding of CRAC, WDS (water detection system), or associated essential infrastructure.
• Travel and station site to site are necessary.
