Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is assisting a client in the HVAC/ACMV sector to hire a Service Engineer for data center environments in Singapore East.

The role focuses on routine maintenance, diagnostics and emergency response for critical cooling and environmental monitoring systems. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience and a NITEC in mechanical or electrical engineering, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in engineering maintenance or facilities servicing.
• Experience with ACMV, DX systems, precision cooling or other critical facility systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working independently as well as with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Willing to perform standby or emergency call-out duties when required.
• Comfortable carrying out hands-on work in data centre or other critical facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, system diagnostics, and emergency troubleshooting on critical cooling and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Execute system startup/ shutdown tasks and respond swiftly to emergency service calls.
• Provide technical support and deliver training based on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with customer engineering teams to uphold standard operating guidelines.
• Generate detailed service reports following maintenance or emergency calls, submit periodic progress updates, and maintain complete documentation tracking.
• Supervise contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
• Monitor site incident logs, implement corrective action plans, and organize daily execution schedules.
• Enforce strict occupational safety protocols and facility rules across all activities, while assisting with ad-hoc operational tasks as needed.

Our esteemed client in the HVAC/ACMV Engineering industry is seeking a Service Engineer (Data Center/ ACMV) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Service Engineer (Data Center/ ACMV)
• Location: East
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Mobile Allowance + VB
