Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a service technician to install, service, and troubleshoot CRAC/WDS systems on-site in Singapore. You will perform periodic maintenance, diagnose faults, and support customer engineers in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work on-site at client sites and data centers.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CRAC/WDS systems.
• Diagnose hardware/software faults, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Conduct equipment power-up/down procedures and respond promptly to e-calls (emergency calls).

Client Support & Training:

• Provide technical support and onsite training on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
• Maintain strong client relationships, particularly with site engineers.
• Liaise with customer engineering departments to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Complete detailed service reports after each servicing/e-call.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports on work activities, progress, and remedial actions.
• Maintain accurate filing, documentation, and tracking of all service records.

Site & Contractor Management:

• Monitor and manage contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety/operational procedures.
• Review site "Events and Actions," implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Plan, execute, and update daily work schedules.

Safety & Compliance:

• Strictly follow data center safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Ensure all work activities comply with occupational safety guidelines.
• Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
