Job summary

Burnt Ends Restaurant Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking friendly service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will handle daily service operations, learn the menu and drinks, promote specials, and work closely with the team to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction. No experience required; 5 days work week with 44 hours and incentives available.

Responsibilities

Customer service according to procedures and standards.
Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing of outlet, taking orders, table setting, cleaning outlet etc.).
Ensure all pre-opening duties are completed daily.
Basic cashiering duties.
Provide service according to F&B department procedures.
Handle beverages.
Know all menu items, recipes, drink list and wine list, and preparation methods and times.
Recommend and promote all items or specials to guests.
Handle guest complaints and feedback with supervisor follow-up.
Maintain high personal hygiene and deportment at all times.
Clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness.
Coordinate with stewards, kitchen, bar staff for smooth operation.
Support answering telephones and completing financial transactions.
Maintain table culture and ambience.
Perform other related duties as required by manager.

Founded by Chef-Owner Dave Pynt, Burnt Ends is a modern barbecue restaurant in Singapore's Dempsey Hill serving modern Australian barbecue and boutique wines and spirits in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. At the heart of this modern barbecue restaurant is an open kitchen concept with a custom four-tonne, dual cavity oven, and four elevation grills. Burnt Ends writes new menus daily and believes that there is magic that comes from cooking with wood.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer service according to procedures and standards.
Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing of outlet, taking orders, table setting, cleaning outlet etc.)
To ensure that all pre-opening duties are completed on daily basis.
Basic cashiering duties.
To provide service according to procedures and standards established by the F&B department.
To handle the beverages.
To be familiar with all items on the menu. In this respect, you must have knowledge of all recipes, drink list, wine list and methods of preparation and preparation time.
To recommend and promote all items on the menu or specials to guests.
To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up.
To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and deportment at all times.
To clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness of the area.
Coordinate with the stewards, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
