Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd invites applications for a Service Coordinator (Marine/ Customer Support) near Tuas West Road MRT. The role involves handling customer inquiries, coordinating marine service requirements, and planning service engineer schedules with internal teams.

Night shifts are possible once per month. Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Business, with 1–3 years in service coordination or customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or Business, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of service coordination, customer service or operations experience preferred.
• Marine industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Able to plan schedules and coordinate field service engineers effectively.
• Comfortable liaising with customers regarding vessel schedules and service requirements.
• Organised and able to maintain accurate job records and follow-up actions.
• Able to support one scheduled night shift per month when required.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer service enquiries via email and telephone.
• Provide customers with information on service requests, accounts and products.
• Coordinate marine service requirements with customers and internal departments.
• Plan and allocate service engineers according to vessel schedules and job requirements.
• Monitor vessel service arrangements and provide timely updates.
• Maintain accurate records of service jobs, engineer assignments and status.
• Follow up on discrepancies involving service fulfilment, billing or completed work.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
• Support purchasing and spare-parts arrangements arising from customer enquiries.
• Obtain customer approval before engineers use spare parts onboard vessels.
• Monitor engineers’ onboard assignments and escalate operational or safety concerns.
• Review engineers’ service reports and close completed jobs promptly.
• Perform other service coordination duties as required.

• Position: Service Coordinator (Marine/ Customer Support)
• Location: Near Tuas West Road MRT
• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm) -WFH available
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3700 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Medical + Shift allowance (for night shift once per month)
• Duration: Permanent
