Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD. is seeking a Server Engineer – SME (L3) with strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Lenovo, Dell, and HPE servers in enterprise settings. The role covers hardware, firmware, and lifecycle management, with SME-level escalation and guidance to junior engineers.

You will work with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V, and provide robust L2/L3 support while coordinating with vendor teams for warranty/RMA cases.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands-on server/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with two or more of Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem.
• Knowledge of iDRAC, iLO, Lenovo XClarity.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with vendor support and warranty/RMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Lenovo, Dell, and HPE servers in enterprise environments.
• Manage server hardware components: CPU, memory, RAID, disks, power supplies, NICs, storage controllers.
• Perform firmware, BIOS, driver, and hardware lifecycle upgrades.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate with vendor support for warranty/RMA.
• Monitor server health, alerts, performance, and capacity.
• Support Windows Server and Linux operating systems and virtualization platforms.
• Provide SME-level technical support and guide junior engineers.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
