Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to monitor, maintain, and optimize a broad range of systems and infrastructure for peak performance in Singapore. You will act as the single point of contact for customers, coordinate with internal teams, and resolve incidents within SLAs.

You will lead end-to-end incident, problem, and change management, and perform proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RHEL and VMware environments.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
• ITIL Foundation v3 Certification is a plus.
• Unix/Linux and VMware Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Use your scripting skills in BASH, Python, and PERL to streamline operations and eliminate repetitive work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience
• Strong working knowledge of RHEL and VMware environments
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL)
• Scripting proficiency in BASH and/or Python
• ITIL Foundation v3 Certification is a plus
• Unix/Linux and VMware Certifications is a plus

Good to Have:

• Experience with IBM MQ and enterprise middleware
• Familiarity with security tools such as QRadar, Nessus, or McAfee ePO
• Hands-on exposure to storage and backup platforms (DELL EMC, Veritas)
• Experience participating in DC failover testing
• Java debugging experience
