Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Server Engineer – SME (L3) in Singapore with hands-on experience supporting Lenovo, Dell, and HPE servers in enterprise environments.

You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade server hardware, manage RAID and storage, and coordinate with vendor support for warranty/RMA. The role involves incident and change management and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of server/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on with two or more of Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo Think System.
• Knowledge of iDRAC, iLO, and Lenovo XClarity.
• Strong RAID, SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and enterprise storage knowledge.
• Experience with BIOS/firmware/drivers and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V.
• Vendor support and warranty/RMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot Lenovo, Dell, and HPE servers.
• Manage server hardware components (CPU, memory, RAID, disks, NICs).
• Perform firmware/BIOS/driver upgrades and hardware lifecycle upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendor support for warranty/RMA cases.
• Monitor server health, alerts, capacity and performance.
• Support server deployments, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Maintain server documentation and asset records.
• Provide SME-level technical support and participate in incident, problem, and change management.
