Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to advance wet process development for next‑node NAND technologies. You will design and optimize unit wet processes, run DOE studies, and work with Process Integration to improve margins and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master’s ≥3 yrs, or Bachelor’s ≥5 yrs of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Strong foundation in chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transport.

Responsibilities

• Process Development & Margin Improvement: Develop and optimize unit wet processes to meet yield and quality requirements for advanced NAND types; quantify benefits of solutions; initiate experiments to widen margins.
• Cross-functional Integration & Troubleshooting: Integrate and troubleshoot processes with cross-functional teams; translate device needs into process requirements; identify viable paths forward.
• Innovation / IP / Supplier Engagement: Support process development including research, hardware evaluations, testing; contribute to IP generation; engage with suppliers on breakthrough solutions.
• Monitoring, Control & Documentation (Governance): Implement process monitoring and control; maintain experiment records and reporting; ensure IP protection policy adherence.
• Other Responsibilities: Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality; share AI-enabled enhancements.
