Job summary

GovTech seeks a Lead Engineer (Operations) to oversee and optimize the water treatment processes at the Ulu Pandan WRP and related sites. You will coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure reliable operation, effluent quality, and biosolids handling.

The role requires hands-on leadership in plant operations and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering and at least eight years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in water treatment environments and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee operational activities to ensure plant processes operate at design capacity.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on water quality control and plant maintenance.
• Analyse water quality data and propose optimizations to improve plant performance.
• Prepare monthly plant water quality and performance reports and present findings.
• Oversee safety provisions and ensure compliance in all works.
