Job summary

THAI VILLAGE RESTAURANT Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure service excellence in an upscale setting. You will lead training, manage staffing, and collaborate with the chef to maintain high food quality while driving sales and guest satisfaction through strong team leadership.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in F&B service, strong operations experience, and fluent Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Premium restaurant experience is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in Food & Beverage Service, ideally in upscale dining establishments, fine-dining restaurants, or 4-star/5-star Chinese restaurants.
• Experience in restaurant operations, driving sales and revenue growth, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, executing marketing and promotional initiatives, and consistently achieving business and financial targets.
• Drive consistent service, process improvement and a passion for providing excellent service.
• Good written and conversational Chinese is required as there is a need to comprehend menu in Chinese, communicate with Chinese speaking customers, business partners and associates.
• Team player with strong inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance to operations standards and procedures.
• Plan and control manning to meet business needs.
• Develop the team through training, coaching and mentoring with constant interactions.
• Identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports and formulate action plans accordingly.
• Handle customers’ requests and feedback.
• Liaise with Chef to ensure a consistently good standard of food quality.
