UNITED OVERSEAS INSURANCE LTD in Singapore seeks a Business Development Manager to grow the Trade Credit Insurance portfolio within the Specialty Lines. You will build and manage a sustainable pipeline, engage brokers and corporate clients, and work with underwriting to tailor propositions that meet client risk management needs.

You will develop market intelligence, expand distribution channels, and drive renewal strategies while ensuring underwriting discipline and performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Risk Management or related discipline.
• ACII certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant general insurance experience, Trade Credit preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the Trade Credit Insurance business development strategy.
• Generate new business via brokers, banks, corporates and trade finance partners.
• Identify target industries and segments for Trade Credit Insurance.
• Maintain an active pipeline from initial engagement to quotation and conversion.
• Meet targets for new business premium and portfolio profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal stakeholders on proposals and pricing.
