Job summary

UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED is seeking a senior Technology Leader to design, build, and manage data and analytics solutions for banking, spanning data architecture, analytics apps, and AI/ML integration.

You will lead data platforms, implement regulatory-compliant architectures, and drive real-time insights while mentoring cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and BI developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; strong foundation in data engineering and analytics.
• Certifications in TOGAF, DAMA/DMBOK, CDMP or equivalents; experience with AI/ML platforms.
• 15+ years delivering global/regional IT capabilities in a large org; 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record in large-scale IT delivery with hands-on systems development experience.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and governance in banking.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executives and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data platforms, balancing BI, analytics, AI/ML and real-time insights.
• Lead design and delivery of analytical apps, dashboards, and data products for banking use cases.
• Build and operationalize data pipelines, APIs, and data-serving layers for production analytics.
• Establish Data Ops and ML Ops practices; ensure regulatory-compliant integration with systems.
• Coordinate across application teams and stakeholders; manage dependencies and delivery plans.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and uphold engineering standards and governance.
