Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support customers during product development and guide qualification processes. You will gather detailed technical requirements and coordinate with HQ teams to ensure on-time progress across projects.

The role involves regular customer visits, presenting tech and roadmaps, and collecting feedback to drive design improvements and opportunities in the notebook display sector.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical/Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant electronics industry experience.
• Hands-on field experience in notebook display industry recommended.
• Experience as a Field Application Engineer is a plus.

Job description

• Deliver front-line technical support to customers during product development to resolve issues and facilitate progress
• Gather and document detailed technical requirements and specifications from customers to guide product development
• Communicate technical issues clearly and provide detailed explanations to the HQ Application team for resolution
• Conduct regular customer visits to build and strengthen long-term relationships and trust
• Assist customers throughout product qualification phases to ensure adherence to development schedules until mass production (MP)
• Present pre-sales technical information on product strategies, roadmaps, features, industry trends, and competitive positioning to customers
• Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform Marketing on design requirements, product improvements, and new product opportunities
• Demonstrate and explain new products to customers to support adoption and understanding
• Perform tests and evaluations for display product qualification to verify product performance and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry.
• Practical field experience or hands-on knowledge in multi-disciplinary system design and development, including electrical, electronics, computerized, and mechanical systems.
• Field experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in the notebook display industry.
