Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in Singapore to deliver front-line technical support during product development. You will gather detailed requirements, communicate issues to the HQ team, and visit customers to strengthen relationships while guiding product qualification to MP.

The ideal candidate has a BSc in Electrical/Electronics engineering, 3–5 years of electronics experience, and hands-on multi-disciplinary system design knowledge, including field

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electronics.
• Hands-on knowledge in multi-disciplinary system design (electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical).
• Field experience as an FAE in notebook display industry

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-line technical support to customers during product development and resolve issues.
• Gather and document detailed technical requirements from customers to guide product development.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to the HQ Application team for resolution.
• Conduct regular customer visits to build long-term relationships and trust.
• Assist customers through product qualification phases to meet development schedules until MP.
• Present pre-sales technical information on product strategies, roadmaps, features, and trends to customers.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform design improvements and new opportunities.
• Demonstrate and explain new products to support adoption and understanding.
• Perform tests and evaluations for display product qualification to verify performance and compliance

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver front-line technical support to customers during product development to resolve issues and facilitate progress
• Gather and document detailed technical requirements and specifications from customers to guide product development
• Communicate technical issues clearly and provide detailed explanations to the HQ Application team for resolution
• Conduct regular customer visits to build and strengthen long-term relationships and trust
• Assist customers throughout product qualification phases to ensure adherence to development schedules until mass production (MP)
• Present pre-sales technical information on product strategies, roadmaps, features, industry trends, and competitive positioning to customers
• Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform Marketing on design requirements, product improvements, and new product opportunities
• Demonstrate and explain new products to customers to support adoption and understanding
• Perform tests and evaluations for display product qualification to verify product performance and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry.
• Practical field experience or hands-on knowledge in multi-disciplinary system design and development, including electrical, electronics, computerized, and mechanical systems.
• Field experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in the notebook display industry.
