Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Purchaser / Senior Buyer to support R&D and semiconductor equipment projects in Sembawang.

The role involves coordinating purchasing priorities with module owners and assembly teams, reviewing BOMs with engineers, and ensuring timely parts delivery for each build. We expect 3–7 years of purchasing or technical sourcing experience in relevant industries, with strong knowledge of BOMs, specifications and drawing revisions.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of purchasing or technical sourcing experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, precision machinery or a similar engineering environment.
• Experience supporting R&D, new product introduction or first prototype builds is strongly preferred.
• Able to work with engineering BOMs, part specifications and drawing revisions, and clarify technical requirements with designers.

Responsibilities

• Support design and prototype development, identify purchasing requirements, review BOMs with engineers and track items awaiting specifications or approvals.
• Resolve difficult sourcing situations, identify alternatives for lead times, obsolete parts, or availability, and present practical options to engineers for approval.
• Own supplier follow-up and delivery: obtain quotations, negotiate terms, issue POs, and verify delivery dates; escalate risks early with options.
• Maintain purchasing visibility: track part numbers, revision, supplier, PO status and current risk; coordinate with receiving, quality and engineering to resolve issues.
