Job summary

Cognizant is hiring ServiceNow Technical Consultants and Developers across all experience levels, from Associates to Senior Technical Consultants. You will design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned to client requirements using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Glide APIs.

REST/SOAP integrations via IntegrationHub and MID Server are core. Senior/Lead roles involve mentoring juniors, leading workshops, and contributing to pre-sales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow experience appropriate to level.
• Proficiency in JavaScript including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Glide APIs.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns using IntegrationHub.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

We are hiring ServiceNow Technical Consultants and Developers across all experience levels — from Associates building their first implementations to Senior Technical Consultants leading complex enterprise projects. We align candidates to a primary module specialism based on their deepest hands‑on expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned to client requirements and platform best practices
• Build platform features using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Glide APIs
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Server
• For ITOM specialisms: experience with ServiceNow Discovery (MID Server, probe/sensor patterns, credential management), CMDB CI class design and reconciliation rules, Service Mapping, and Event Management alert correlation
• Translate requirements and user stories into fully functional solutions, working closely with BAs, architects, and clients
• Manage project processes: technical documentation, integration design, work‑effort estimation, and development delivery
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies; provide timely updates to ensure proactive client communication
• At Senior/Lead level: mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, lead client workshops, and contribute to pre‑sales

Requirements

• Hands‑on ServiceNow platform experience appropriate to the level you are applying for (see Level Guide above)
• Proficiency in JavaScript — Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Glide APIs
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (IntegrationHub preferred from Consultant level)
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into platform solutions
• Good communication skills — able to engage with technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders
• At Senior/Lead level: experience owning architecture artefacts and leading client‑facing workshops

Certifications

• ServiceNow CSA — Required
• ServiceNow CIS in primary module — Required
• ServiceNow CAD — Required from Senior TC level
• ITIL Foundation — Preferred at all levels
• Additional CIS certifications — Advantageous at Senior/Lead level

Education

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent. Practical experience given equal consideration at all levels.
