Job summary

Fortinet seeks a Technical Account Manager to serve as the primary technical liaison for dedicated accounts and to deliver robust solutions. You will reproduce customer environments, coordinate with R&D, and document best practices to support seamless deployments.

The role requires 6–10 years in technical support for networking/security, with strong TCP/IP and VPN knowledge, firewall experience, and multi-vendor expertise. Site visits and incident tracking are expected responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 6–10 years’ experience in technical support in networking/security companies.
• Strong understanding of data networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Experience with security technologies like Firewalls, UTM, and VPNs.
• Admin level working knowledge of Windows, Linux or Unix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for the dedicated account.
• Provide technical solutions to address customer issues.
• Reproduce customer environments on lab equipment.
• Coordinate with R&D to resolve product issues.
• Track, maintain and resolve incident reports and requests.
• Create technical documentation to improve knowledge bases.
• Update customers on new releases and features.
