Job summary

DBS Bank Asia Hub in Singapore seeks a senior technology leader to own platform architecture and delivery strategy for the Corporate Internet Banking Platform. You will lead cross-domain technical direction across Payments, Accounts, Entitlements, and more, shaping scalable solutions and implementation roadmaps.

You will mentor engineers, drive engineering excellence through modern architectures and DevSecOps practices, and govern code quality, release management and platform resiliency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
• 15+ years of software engineering with at least 8 years in senior technology leadership roles in banking.
• Strong experience delivering Corporate Internet Banking, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Payments or Digital Banking platforms.
• Proven leadership of large engineering organizations responsible for architecture, design, development and delivery of enterprise-scale apps.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technology vision, architecture, engineering standards and delivery strategy for the Corporate Internet Banking Platform.
• Provide technical leadership across Payments, Accounts, Entitlements, Notifications, Approvals, Dashboard and Shared Services.
• Lead architecture reviews, design reviews and code quality governance for secure, scalable solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and implementation roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Mentor domain leads, architects, engineering managers and development teams throughout the SDLC.
• Advance engineering excellence via Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, API-First Design, MFE, DevSecOps and cloud-native practices.
• Ensure integrated customer journeys and platform standards across domains.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted software engineering tools and establish governance around AI-generated code.
• Establish governance for architecture reviews, coding standards, release management, resiliency and production readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity, software quality and delivery speed.
