Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore seeks an senior technology architect to lead the design and delivery of an ecosystem platform. You will partner with applications teams and other architects to define architecture, patterns, and secure microservices/APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment.

You will guide engineers, establish best practices, and drive transformation from monoliths to scalable cloud-native solutions while aligning with enterprise architecture principles.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing large scale IAM, integration, CD, TDD and pair programming.
• Knowledge of banking platforms, payments systems and regulatory constraints.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security and token management.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / SAML 2.0 protocols.
• Experience with Cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive the build out of capabilities on the Ecosystem Platform roadmap.
• Collaborate with applications teams and architects to raise engineering quality.
• Direct architecture and development teams with a hands-on approach.
• Improve engineering practices and introduce new ones as needed.
• Create strategy and guidelines to improve software delivery quality.
• Define and own software standards, patterns, and agile practices.
• Project manage and allocate development capacity to meet schedules.
• Ensure architecture is implemented using agreed patterns with teams.
• Perform POCs and develop patterns and frameworks.
• Provide fit-for-purpose solutions with architects and domain experts.
• Transform requirements into architecture and blueprints for cloud-native solutions.
• Design solutions around microservices and APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment.
• Lead technical direction and gain buy-in from development teams.
• Plan migration from on-prem to cloud-based platforms.
• Align solution architecture with enterprise roadmaps and EA principles.
